Having a practiced Yoga for over 10 years, Lorna’s passion for Yoga and for teaching enables her students to get the best from each class.
My name is Lorna Lowe and I have been practicing Yoga for over 10 years.
I first came across Yoga when I was in a bookshop and stumbled upon a Yoga book and decided to purchase it and try out some of the poses inside. My curiosity grew as I practiced yoga from a DVD and then decided to take the big step and attend my first Yoga class at the age of 17.
After I finished University, completing a BEd degree in Primary Education with a Qualified Teacher Status, I started practicing Yoga more seriously and decided that I would like to become a Yoga teacher. I am now a fully qualified Student Teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga and am currently studying for a 500 hour, level 4 teaching diploma with the British Wheel of Yoga.
I still work full time as a Primary School Teacher and so know the importance of taking time out of the busy day to check in on our own body and allowing some time for ourselves.
I love to teach Flow Yoga classes where you can link movement with breath and also feel like you worked hard with your body to enjoy the relaxation and calm afterwards.
I currently teach two classes a week in the Suffolk area. To find more about my classes click here.
