Try this super indulgent cookie dough recipe that tastes so good, feels so naughty but is actually a protein filled healthy treat that will cure any sweet craving you have!

I was first made this protein cookie dough by the boyfriend and it was an instant hit and I loved it for two reasons – 1. It completely cured any sweet craving that I had; and 2. It is high in protein, which is something I struggle with a little bit being a vegetarian.

This recipe uses only three ingredients that, when mixed together make an awesome treat.

 

Protein Cookie Dough

Serves 2

– 1 scoop chocolate protein powder

– 2tbsp peanut butter

– 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk approx (depending on your chosen thickness)

Put the protein powder into a bowl.

Add the peanut butter.

Add a small amount of the almond milk and being to carefully mix.

Continue to add the rest of the almond milk until desired thickness is reached.

Allow to cool in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.

This can also be stored in the freezer and consumed as an ice cream alternative!
