20 Aug Pregnancy Yoga – Flow & Coffee
Come and join Lorna for her weekly Pregnancy Yoga class at the Wellbeing Warehouse, Newmarket followed by a coffee and chat with other mama’s-to-be.
We will start off with our usual 75minute Pregnancy Yoga class that is suitable for all abilities of yoga and all stages of pregnancy. We always start the class with a breathing practice to aid your pregnancy or labour and then move into some gentle warm-up stretches. After that we will do some seated and standing asanas (poses) all of which are great to ease any general aches or tension and to prepare you for labour. We always then spend a few minutes working on pelvic floor exercises to both strengthen (for pregnancy) and release (for labour) the pelvic floor. Finally we will move into a lovely long Shavasana (relaxation).
After class we will then gather in the comfy seating area in the Wellbeing Warehouse for a drink of your choice, chat and maybe even a slice or two of cake! There will be a range of tea’s and coffee available including decaf.
This is a great opportunity to get to know some other local mum’s and to share any pregnancy or birth experiences (positive stories only please).
Cost: Price of a normal class (£10 pay-as-you-go or use of your 5/10 class pass), followed by the cost of the hot drink – water & cake is free!
