LORNA LOWE

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.

I have been practicing Yoga for over 10 years and have been teaching yoga for 5 years. I first came across Yoga when I was in a bookshop and stumbled upon a Yoga book and decided to purchase it and try out some of the poses inside. My curiosity grew as I practiced yoga from a DVD and then decided to take the big step and attend my first Yoga class at the age of 17.

After that I went to classes on and off throughout my teens and uni years. Once I graduated as a Primary School Teacher in 2009 I decided to start my journey into the world of becoming a yoga teacher. 1 Foundation Course and 500hours Teaching Diploma later I qualified as a yoga teacher! I later trained in Pregnancy yoga, yoga for children and to become a fully qualified nutritionist.

For the last 5 years I have been teaching around my full time job as a Primary School Teacher.

Now, however, I have decided to take a break from teaching in the classroom and follow my dream of solely teaching yoga! I’m so excited to see where this journey will take me and I hope you will follow along with me!

YOGA

 

I love teaching Flow Yoga classes where you can link movement with breath and also feel like you worked hard with your body to enjoy the relaxation and calm afterwards.

I have created several Yoga Videos on Youtube for everyone to follow along with if they cannot get to an actual class. I understand the power of the internet as a tool to enable people to practice yoga and to learn even when they may be hundreds of miles away.

NUTRITION

 

I have a Diploma in Nutritional Health and am a Fully Qualified Certified Nutritionist. It has always been a dream of mine to be able to offer people yoga and health advice, as I believe they are so closely linked. Studies have shown their is a profound link between our mental wellbeing and our physical body both on the outside and in our internal organs.
