Lorna is not only Pregnancy Yoga trained but she also has 3 years worth of Yoga Teacher training behind her which means that she has an in depth knowledge of each yoga pose. She knows the benefits and precautions for each posture during pregnancy and how to ensure pregnant ladies come in and out of the poses safely. Her classes are not a cardboard cut out of a certain teaching brand which is generic to all women, instead every class is different looking at specific areas of Pregnancy and labour as well as thinking about the needs of mama’s who attend her class.
Pregnancy Yoga classes will support women throughout their pregnancy to help to ease the general aches and pains of pregnancy, to prepare for birth by teaching specific breathing techniques and positions to use in labour and to help the mama-to-be to feel more relaxed, calm and energised.
Classes will consist of a breathing practice, pelvic floor work, seated and standing postures suitable for the 2nd and 3rd trimester and a lovely long relaxation. Classes is suitable for all abilities of yoga.
